Some quick details about me: I’m a relaxed and casual photographer who aspires all clients to be as comfortable and just as relaxed with the camera. This will ensure we get the best photographs from a shoot.
In short, if you are at all nervous about being photographed, I’m your sigh of relief as you realise its all going to be ok. The way I work speaks volumes about me and who I am, so for that reason I am going to write a little about my work style and ethic.
I work completely on location for portraits shoots, with the focus on capturing the candid moments as we talk and try ideas rather than posing people and “say cheese”.
How I let a shoot unfold to best capture those moments depends on the circumstances and feel I get at the beginning of a shoot. That’s where my experience with people as well as photography comes in. We can then move forward into the shoot and let your personality emerge.
There is of course a lot more to good photography than us having a great time. The technical knowledge of the camera and pre-planing that goes into a shoot play a huge roll in what your photos will look like. Lucky for you, all the hard work has been done and coupled with our pre shoot discussions, I can tailor it all just for you. The key is to blend the skills and feelings. I like to think of things organically coming together, on location, as we shoot.
